Down in the cellar store, more partitions and and an assembled 'echelle de meunier' - a simple stair (cost 47 Euros) that will serve during building operations - safer than using ladders to get between floors. A weeks delay waiting for delivery of 'Fermacell' wall sheeting that I'm using instead of plasterboard (more ecological - compressed wood fibre and gypsum). Took the van into Perigueux and bought a lot of things - doors, sanitaryware, handles etc on the January sales.
